In this information memorandum, we want to provide you with detailed information on the processing of your personal data for marketing purposes. To begin with, we would like to explain why we asked for your consent to process personal data for marketing purposes. The main purpose of this processing is to offer you the latest information about current and new products, services, from us and from our business partners. Another objective is to provide time-limited offers and practical information, in written or electronic form. We try to create tailor-made offers based on segmentation and profiling so that we can only present you with relevant product and service offers, so that you are not inundated with product offers that are already available to you or that do not meet your needs. Given the entry into force on 25/05/2018 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC, it is necessary to obtain a new consent from you that corresponds to the new requirements. For marketing purposes, we process the following categories of personal data to help us determine the offer of products and services you might like and address your needs.

2. What personal data do we process about you?

Basic identification data – name and surname, permanent and temporary address.

Contact details – phone number, e-mail address.

Information from recordings of phone calls or other interactions with you, such as email, chat, text messages.

Geolocation data – geolocation data from a web browser. This data can usually be used to recommend a contact to the nearest broker or branch.

3. What sources does the personal data come from?

We collect the personal data mentioned in the previous point directly from you. You state this personal data in the client contract or you have specified them in other documents.

Personal data may also come from publicly available sources, registers and registers, such as the commercial register. Your personal data may also come from third parties who are authorized to handle it.

4. For what purposes did you give your consent?

You have given your consent for marketing purposes, which include the following activities:

  • 1. Offering products and services. Based on your consent, we can provide you with offers electronically, in particular in the form of e-mail messages or messages sent to mobile devices via a telephone number, through the web client zone, in writing or in the form of a telephone call.
  • 2. Automated processing of personal data in order to adapt the business offer to your individual needs.
  • 3. Market research and customer satisfaction surveys with the products and services used.

Consent given for marketing purposes is voluntary. However, it is necessary to send you individual offers of our products and services. Without such consent, we cannot provide you with individual offers of products and services.

5. Why does profiling and automated decision-making occur?

For this purpose, we use automatic information systems, web applications or calculators. Accordingly, we send you individualized messages and offers of products and services of our brand and our business partners. Automatic evaluation (profiling) of personal data will help us to better understand you and your needs, estimate future actions and adapt our products and services accordingly.

6. How long will we process your personal data?

You have given us your consent for the duration of the contractual relationship for the next 5 years or until you withdraw your consent.

If you are not, nor do you become a client of the Company, your consent will be valid for 5 years from the date of granting, or until the moment you revoke it revoked.

After the relevant time, your personal data will be deleted, but only to the extent and for the purposes for which consent is not required by law.

7. Who can access your personal data?

For the processing of data for marketing purposes, other entities that process personal data as so-called processors whose task is to provide services to the company may also have access to your data. For example, these may be external companies that manage our systems or other services ensuring the proper functioning of the company and the processing of personal data for marketing purposes. I have concluded a personal data processing agreement with these processors, on the basis of which they are also obliged to comply with strict data protection rules. 8. What are your rights when processing personal data?

Proper processing of your personal data is important for companies in the Slovak Republic and their protection is a matter of course. When processing personal data, you may exercise the following rights:

Information about the processed your personal data

The information includes in particular: identification and contact details of the administrator, its representative and, where applicable, the data protection officer, the purposes of processing, the categories of personal data concerned, the recipient or categories of recipients of personal data, information on the transfer of personal data to third countries, the retention period of personal data, authorized administrators, a list of your rights, the possibility to contact the Office for Personal Data Protection, the source of the processed personal data, information on whether and how automated decision-making and profiling takes place.

Right of access to personal data

You have the right to confirm whether or not personal data are processed and, if so, you have access to information on processing, categories of personal data concerned, recipients or categories of recipients, retention period of personal data, as well as the right to information about your rights, the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, information on the source of personal data, information on whether automated decision-making and profiling takes place, information and safeguards in case of transfer of personal data to a third country or international organization. You have the right to be provided with copies of the processed personal data.

Right to rectification

Do we process your outdated or inaccurate personal data? For example, have you changed your home address? Please inform us and we will correct the personal data.

Right to erasure (right to be forgotten)

In some cases stipulated by law, we are obliged to delete your personal data on your instruction. However, each such request is subject to individual evaluation, because we also have an obligation or legitimate interest to retain personal data.

Right to restriction of processing

If you want your personal data to be processed exclusively for the most necessary legitimate purposes or if you wish to block personal data.

Right to data portability

If you wish us to provide your personal data to another company, we will transfer your personal data in the appropriate format to the entity designated by you, unless we are prevented from doing so by any legal or other significant obstacles.

Right to object and automated individual decision-making

If you find or believe that we are processing personal data in violation of the protection of your private and personal life or in violation of the law, please contact us and ask us to explain or remedy the inappropriate situation. You can also object directly to automated decision-making and profiling.

Right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection

With your suggestion or complaint regarding the processing of personal data, you can contact the supervisory authority at any time, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic with its registered office at the address: Hraničná 4826/12, 820 07 Bratislava – Ružinov, Slovak Republic.

How long can you expect an answer?

We will provide you with comments and possible information on the measures taken as soon as possible, but no later than within one month. If necessary, and taking into account the complexity and number of requests, we may extend this period to two months. We will inform you of the extension, including the reasons.

9. How can you withdraw consent to the processing of personal data?

Consent to the processing of personal data is based on the principle of voluntariness. This means that you can revoke it at any time. Do you no longer want to receive offers of products and services from us and our business partners? We are sorry, but we fully respect your decision.

What should the withdrawal of consent include?

Who is filing the appeal. Please provide your first and last name, home address and email address so that we can identify you.

To whom you are lodging the appeal. You can appeal to all branches or, if you want to keep sending offers from selected branches, specify only those you want or do not want to allow to contact you further.

Information that you do not want us to process your personal data. If you would like to receive only selected offers, please specify what those offers are so that we can accommodate you.

Revocation of consent to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes must be sent in writing or by email, so that we have a proper record of your revocation. Be sure to sign the appeal.
